With 4K HDR models available, these TVs can be up to 4x brighter than an indoor TV, allowing you to watch your favorite show in perfect clarity with the sun shining. Pair your SunBrite or Samsung outdoor TV with an all-weather mount and weatherproof soundbar, or kick your outdoor experience up a notch with a fully weatherproof surround sound system. Bring on the elements!

Already have an outdoor TV? Perfect! Now, lets optimize that audio so that content really comes to life. Head over to our Outdoor Audio page to learn more about the various weather-proof speaker options we can use to design your perfect outdoor oasis.

Warning:

Indoor TV manufacturers specifically prohibit outdoor use (check the manual). Don’t risk your family's safety, and your television's warranty, by using an indoor-rated TV outside.

** Due to the risk of fire or electrical shock, The Theater People will not install indoor-rated TVs outside. **

Types of outdoor TVs

When you’re deciding on an outdoor TV, your main consideration needs to be the sun! Our project manager can help make sure you are choosing the correct TV for your space.

Full shade

These TVs are made for areas that get very little to no sun (typically covered). They tend to have a bit lower brightness than the full sun options.

Partial sun/shade

Depending on the brand, some TVs can allow for some sun while others don’t. Typically, they can stand to be in the sun for just a couple of hours.

Full sun

These TVs are made for areas in the sun for hours at a time. They have a much brighter screen and can handle extreme heat from the sun.
